seeds and crabs

This isn't the greatest picture, but it's the best I have from our project at Cabo Blanco. We worked with Erin Lindquist (OTS faculty) looking at the abundance of crabs and mammals along a gradient of distance from the ocean, and also at rate of seed removal along the same gradient. As with most OTS studies, we didn't have a big enough sample size to say a whole lot. We were able to catch a few land crabs in these Sherman traps (in the picture with Tippy and Chandler). Posted by Picasa
